Every other year (in-between two summer schools), an ULLA workshop is organized for PhD students from the member institutes. The workshop takes 2 or 3 days and comprises both teaching and hands-on sessions. About 30 students are selected by the different institutes to participate. Importantly, PhD students are responsible for both the selection of workshop topics and the organization of the workshop.
